Small Hobby Farm in Rural Missouri
We were all very sad last week when after a hardy meal of schnitzel, eggs, and various other goodies for breakfast it seems that Bridget decided it was time to leave us. Matt and I both worked late that day and returned home to find that she had disappeared. We searched in the dark that night and again the next day with no results. Matt really wanted to give her a proper burial alongside Hershey but I guess Bridget didn’t want it that way. We are still baffled how the other dogs did not lead us to her. It is like she literally vanished from this earth.
Bridget was 15 and had a wonderful life filled with the love of her owners and the love, respect and admiration of all the other animals. We will always have a special place in our hearts for “old one eye “and share many fond memories that bring smiles to our face. She cannot be replaced. Rest in peace sweet Bridget.
